Sensei Jacob started his training in 2010 at Livingston Karate under Sensei Ray Effler where he earned his black belt.
He attended La Tech and competed as a member of the La Tech karate team.

After deciding to pursue his goals as a full time martial artist in hopes of running his own program, he moved to Mandeville to study under Sensei Scott and live at the Mandeville Karate dojo while attending SLU. 
Jacob is a multiple time National and World Champion as both a youth and adult black belt competitor.
